Create a group
From the Groups tab, tap Create. Pick a name, optionally add a banner photo and description, and set whether it is public or invite-only. For your regular foursome list only, use Crews under Friends instead.
- 2
Invite members
Add by username, phone, or share a join link. Public groups can be discovered by anyone; invite-only groups require an explicit invite or link.
- 3
Use the chat
Group chat supports text, photos, polls (for picking a date or course), and reactions. It also surfaces system messages when rounds are scheduled or completed.
- 4
Run group competitions
Any round, tournament, or season can be scoped to the group. Members get auto-invited, the group leaderboard updates, and history accumulates over time.
- 5
Group recap
Every group has a recap: most-played courses, biggest wins, longest streaks, head-to-head records. Useful for trash talk and trip planning.
FAQ
Common questions
Can I be in multiple groups?
Yes - join as many as you like. Each has its own chat and leaderboard.
What is the difference between a group and a buddy trip?
Groups are persistent. Buddy trips are scoped to a specific event - one trip in one place over a few days. Most groups run multiple buddy trips per year.
Can I make a group private?
Yes. Set it to invite-only and members can only join with a link or direct invite.
