For golf courses
CaddieOS is golf league and tournament software for golf courses. Golfers join from a QR code and score on caddie.fun or on a no-app group scorecard; your staff review every card, close the game and record prizes in your own shop credit.
From signup to reviewed prizes, we start with an assisted public or semi-private weekly game. Your pro runs the field; golfers and friends follow it; the owner sees the competition record and what needs to be reconciled.
Live scoring is free. Your course keeps collecting fees and redeeming credit.
Example: Saturday Skins, net
Prize book
Every game, every prize and every staff change on one record, with exports your shop can reconcile.
Set up a game once, run it every week, and close it from a preview that shows every award first.
Review cards independently before anything is awarded. Reviewers see scores, not staff controls.
Check groups in and add walk-ups on a desk that shows arrivals, never scores, handicaps or money.
Choose the right starting point
A public Saturday field and a member league have different admission and privacy needs. We set the scope with your staff before the first game.
Public course
Publish the game on your course page, let golfers join from a QR code, and add counter walk-ups. The live board shows only names golfers chose to share.
First pilot: Your shop keeps collecting fees and redeeming credit in its own POS.
Semi-private course
Run an open weekly game with the public workflow. A members-only league needs verified member eligibility and restricted viewing before it can be offered as private.
Public games first: A member number or a forwarded link does not verify admission.
Private club
Member-guest registration, club-scoped boards and account billing depend on your roster and billing rules. We review those systems with your team before proposing a private-club rollout.
Discovery: We do not describe a public event link as members-only access.

Sample walkthrough
Step through the five jobs your staff do on a game day. Each step changes the sample game the way the real desk would. Sample data, not a live course.
Step 1 of 5 · Pro or manager
Choose the format, gross or net, and the handicap allowance. Fund the pot in your own credit unit, then prepare a run of weekly games with the same rules. Each Saturday gets its own field, card review and prize book entries.
What golfers see
Nothing yet. Prepared games stay private until you open signups.
Rules are frozen when the game is published, so every card is scored the same way.

The weekly game
The same Saturday game, run two ways.

On CaddieOS
Your golfers
Golfers never need to learn the CaddieOS name. They see your course, your game and their result. The board on the right is the real golfer board, shown with the sample game.
Golfers scan the printed entry card at the tee or the counter and join from your course page in one step.
Each group scores on caddie.fun and links the round to your game. Golfers without the app still play: staff enter their cards.
After you review and close, golfers see the final board and, if they won, a credit receipt to redeem in your shop.

Trust
CaddieOS never holds, sends or pays out money. You collect entry fees and redeem credit through your own shop or billing.
Joining a competition, following your course and showing a name on a public board are separate choices each golfer makes.
Staff work under roles you grant. Changes are written to an audit log with who made them and what changed.
Questions
No. Golfers join from your course page on caddie.fun in a browser or in the app, and one marker per group can keep score from the QR code on the cart sign with no app or account. Staff can still add walk-ups and enter paper cards. Walk-ups who agree to results email receive their result; a staff-confirmed address can also receive a one-time link to save it.
No. CaddieOS records competitions and prize credit; your course collects entry fees and redeems credit through its own shop. You can record an entry fee you already collected as a receipt, and the prize book exports to CSV for reconciliation.
Skins, stroke play (medal) and Stableford, gross or net, and quota against handicap, over 18 or 9 holes. You can pay top places, split the field into handicap flights, and settle ties on countback. For teams: best ball (the best one or more scores per hole) and scrambles with the standard team handicap allowances, on fixed teams or teams drawn blind after play.
Yes, as a CSV: CaddieOS previews the import, checks golfer identities and the handicap basis, and only adds the field when you commit it. Direct tee sheet and point-of-sale connections come later.
Public boards and the shop TV show only names golfers chose to show; everyone else appears as a numbered golfer. Personal credit balances and receipts are visible only to the signed-in golfer and your authorized staff.
At club.caddie.fun, with the same account they use on caddie.fun. The operator app keeps its own session, and each person sees only the work their role allows.
The Free tier has no charge and includes live scoring, no-app group scorecards and results emails at one course. Paid tier pricing is set with each course while tiers are finalized; the pricing page lists what each tier includes.
Book a setup session. We set up your business, verify your course and run your first competition with you. Nothing is set up on your course until you confirm it with us.
An open game at a semi-private course can use the public workflow. Members-only admission and restricted boards need a verified member source and club-scoped access; they are not part of the first public-course pilot. We review private-club requirements during a setup session.
