Team Battle is the Ryder Cup structure inside caddie.fun - two equal teams competing across foursomes, four-ball, and singles with a live points scoreboard. It is not a separate product; pick the Ryder Cup / Team Battle template when creating a tournament or trip.
4 to 36 per team. A typical group battle is 6v6 or 8v8. Larger groups can go up to 18v18 or even 36v36.
Foursomes (alternate shot), four-ball (best ball), singles (1v1 match play), best ball, and match play. Each round can use a different format.
By default, each match won earns 1 point and each halved match earns 0.5 points. You can customize these values when creating the battle.
Yes - each team must have the same number of players so matchups are balanced. You assign players to the two squads when you set up the event.
Yes. Match play formats use net scoring based on each player's handicap. The lower handicap player gives strokes on the hardest-rated holes.
No. Team Battles are free to create and play. Optional cfUSD play-money entry fees can be added, with the team pot settled automatically.
