The problem
Your group already has the rivalries. Now make them official.
Every golf group has natural sides - the guys who always pair up, the trash-talkers vs the quiet grinders. Team Battle turns those dynamics into a structured, multi-day competition with a real scoreboard and season-long bragging rights.

Questions
Common questions
What is Team Battle?
Team Battle is the Ryder Cup structure inside caddie.fun - two equal teams competing across foursomes, four-ball, and singles with a live points scoreboard. It is not a separate product; pick the Ryder Cup / Team Battle template when creating a tournament or trip.
How many players can be on a team?
4 to 36 per team. A typical group battle is 6v6 or 8v8. Larger groups can go up to 18v18 or even 36v36.
What formats are supported?
Foursomes (alternate shot), four-ball (best ball), singles (1v1 match play), best ball, and match play. Each round can use a different format.
How does the points system work?
By default, each match won earns 1 point and each halved match earns 0.5 points. You can customize these values when creating the battle.
Do I need an even number of players?
Yes - each team must have the same number of players so matchups are balanced. You assign players to the two squads when you set up the event.
Can we use handicaps?
Yes. Match play formats use net scoring based on each player's handicap. The lower handicap player gives strokes on the hardest-rated holes.
Is there a cost to run a Team Battle?
No. Team Battles are free to create and play. Optional cfUSD play-money entry fees can be added, with the team pot settled automatically.
How is Team Battle different from a season?
A season is a multi-week individual or pair standings race. Team Battle is a Ryder Cup-style event: two captains, equal squads, and a points race across foursomes, four-ball, and singles.
Can Team Battle run on a trip?
Yes. Use the Ryder Cup / Team Battle trip template for multi-day team competition with lodging and expense tools, or run it as a tournament structure inside your group.
Where do I create one?
Start from /compete/team-battles/create, or pick the Ryder Cup / Team Battle template when creating a tournament or trip.
