The Commissioner
Saturday's crew, already moving.
The Commissioner keeps a golf crew's next outing together: a plan, the RSVP, and the decision the organizer actually needs to make.
It takes the chase out of planning without pretending to book a tee time, infer consent, or make money decisions for anyone.

The problem
The hard part of a regular game is getting the group to a decision.
A text thread can tell you who might play, but it rarely tells you when the answer closes, what field you actually have, or what to do when two people drop out. The Commissioner turns that uncertainty into a visible plan and a specific organizer decision.

When a plan changes
The organizer sees the current version.
A reminder, short field, or round setup is tied to the roster the organizer reviewed. If a member changes their answer, the next decision uses the updated count.
Members keep playing in the normal round. Pausing the Commissioner stops future planning work, not an already linked scorecard.
Good to know
The crew stays in control.
The Commissioner organizes answers and decisions. People still approve their own participation, booking and money.
Questions
Common questions
What is the Commissioner?
The Commissioner helps a golf crew plan its next outing. It gathers RSVPs in the crew, keeps the plan visible, and brings roster and round decisions back to an organizer.
Does it book a tee time for me?
No. The Commissioner can suggest a course and time, but booking remains a manual organizer step unless an acknowledged booking integration is available for that course.
Can it create a round without asking?
The organizer reviews the current roster and plan before a round is created. A change to the plan requires a fresh decision; the Commissioner does not silently include a member who did not answer.
Where do members RSVP?
Members can answer In or Out from the crew plan, its pinned crew-chat RSVP, or a notification link. The current answer and cutoff stay visible in the crew.
What happens if too few players answer In?
The organizer sees the live count and the next decision. They can try a reminder, choose a smaller field when a format allows it, or skip the outing without inventing attendance.
Can the Commissioner manage seasons or trips?
It can work in a crew and in supported event scopes, using that event's schedule and round as the source of truth. It does not create a second calendar or scorecard.
Who controls the settings?
Crew owners and admins can reach setup in the crew control room. The named organizer reviews outing decisions. Other members see the plan and their own RSVP without organizer controls.
Can I pause it?
An authorized organizer can pause the Commissioner. Existing linked rounds remain available for play and results, and members can see what stopped and who can restart it.
Does it move or spend money?
No. RSVP and planning never authorize a stake, purchase, or payment for another player. Money decisions remain in the existing explicit round and payment flows.
How do I start?
Create or open a golf crew, then open its Commissioner plan. Preview the next outing and RSVP responsibilities before enabling it for that crew.
