•Wheelchair accessible
•The new clubhouse is a modern build. Contact the course for adaptive cart availability.

•Best time to play: Weekday mornings are the quietest. Lake Hefner is exposed to Oklahoma wind, which is usually calmest early. Twilight, dusk and sunset rates cut the price a lot in the afternoon and evening (Twilight $27.50, Dusk $21.25, Sunset $14).
•Pro tip: Book the North course if you want the better conditions. Expect wind off the lake, so take an extra club into the breeze and keep the ball below the wind. Check the tee-time calendar, since twilight start times shift by month and by weekday versus weekend.
•Local knowledge: There are two 18-hole courses, North and South. Visitors describe the North as the prettier and easier of the two, with the South in rougher shape. The Par 3 Academy is only $9.25. The clubhouse has lake views, a full-service bar and a dinner menu.
