Local knowledge

•Best time to play: Early morning tee times offer cooler temperatures and the best light through the valley oaks. Spring and fall are ideal — avoid peak summer midday heat.
•Pro tip: The South Course plays shorter and more target-oriented than the North. Course management off the tee is key — Napa Valley morning dew can make fairways soft and receptive early, but greens firm up fast by afternoon.
•Local knowledge: Green fee includes range balls — get there early and use the full warm-up facility before your round. Contact the golf shop directly at 707.257.5460 for the best tee time availability.
